About

My Story

I have conducted over 1000 interviews over the course of a few years. I have interviewed candidates applying to the biggest tech companies in the world (Amazon, Robinhood, etc.), as well as early-stage startups, but have also been in the shoes of the candidate many times before.

I work as a software engineer full-time, but have found myself interviewing engineers, data scientists, and other tech workers daily. I have learned over the course of thousands of hours’ worth of raw interviewing experience how to perform optimally (pun intended) in tech interviews.

The purpose of this blog is to distill all that I have learned about performing well in tech interviews. This blog will focus primarily on software engineering roles (SDE, Senior SDE, Staff, Manager, etc.), but will also feature a few data science and QA roles as well. I want you to see into the mind of the person who may very well administer your next interview. If you show up to the interview and the interviewer felt like you read their mind when answering the questions…then congratulations. You passed the interview.
